How do i punch through the engine firewall to run power cable ...
Im doin a little sub install and am stuck on how to run the power wire from my battery into the cabin... any ideas would be much appreciated. Also, is there an RCA connection on the back of a concert( i think, its a 98.5 a4) headunit?

on the drivers side of the battery about 12" away should be a triangular hole with nothing but
a grommet through which you can run wire. Feeding it through is pretty easy, but reaching it on the other side is a little tricky as it is very high above the footwell.
As for the RCAs, there is a low level output on the back of the deck, but it would be easier to just tag the signal from the rear speakers and use hi-level input in the amp or a hi-low converter should the amp not have hi-level input.

Through the rubber boot under where the A/C pipes go through the firewall
You can access the other side easily by removing the glove box
No RCA's on the back of a concert
Need Blaupunkt adapter, which is not so easy to find these days
