Default personnaly I like JL amps...you can get a JL 450/4

I have the JL 500/5 so you get a separate channel for your sub(250W). Are you going to add a separate sub later?

JL 500/5

Alpine amps are overpriced for what you get. Still good, but not worth it IMO.

Default Yeah, you could pick up a high-end amp w/similar specs for that price

Granted, it would be internet "gray market", but still . . . I paid around $350 for my PPI, and I think it's considered more stable & robust than Alpine amps.

Default Honestly I don't remember where, I found it on Ebay but it was an internet retailer

I got a PCX-480, which is 4 channel x 80 w. It was about 2 years ago, so the prices may be a bit higher now. I would start with Ebay. Also check some of the online places mentioned frequently on this board.
