personnaly I like JL amps...you can get a JL 450/4

Yeah, you could pick up a high-end amp w/similar specs for that price
Granted, it would be internet "gray market", but still . . . I paid around $350 for my PPI, and I think it's considered more stable & robust than Alpine amps.

Honestly I don't remember where, I found it on Ebay but it was an internet retailer
I got a PCX-480, which is 4 channel x 80 w. It was about 2 years ago, so the prices may be a bit higher now. I would start with Ebay. Also check some of the online places mentioned frequently on this board.

yea, i'm lookin at the same one. agreed its overpriced, but i already got one apline so i'm goin w/
