Default How do you keep sub boxes from sliding around the trunk?

Damn thing is heavy - probably 30+ pounds so I don't think Velcro is gonna do it. Is it a bad idea to drill through the box and bolt it to the trunk floor? Other ideas?

Default Temporary setup...but i've been using a bungie cord. Yes, my sub box is relatively small.

Default my frineds @ teh local car audio shop say screw it down,...

I'm not too keen on that so I just let it slide around and I push it back to where it goes. The box is large and has 2 12" subs so you would think it wouldn't mvoe too much ;o)

True, but it would become a VERY heavy projectile in an accident. Mine's bolted

Default Very nice! Thinking of doing the same, but first I gotta get the new HU

and crap like that installed. Getting tired of always having something else tweaked...wanna drive (and listen to) the damn thing!

Default Mine is bolted to the floor.

I know some insurance companies will cover your sub box if it is bolted down.
