How much dynamat will I need?
I can get the Dynamat Extreme Bulk packs off of ebay for about $120shipped. Each kit consists of about 36sq. ft. of material. The last vehicle I dynamatted was about 6-7 years ago (still holding to this day actually).
Here's what I want to do:
Trunk Floor, Trunk Sides, Trunk Lid, Trunk decklid (just one side needed?)
Front and rear doors. Floor. Some parts of the firewall. And anyother places where I can reach fairly easily. I'd like to drop the headliner and do the roof but I sense that that is a major chore.
Would one box be enough, or should I get 2?

36 sq ft really isn't all that much. It is 6x6 (rough estimate don't know actual dimensions).
You're gonna need more than 1 or 2 packs to do the entire trunk, doors, floor and roof.

Before you get Dynamat, check www.b-quiet.com for comparable stuff
They'll even send you samples of their stuff and the Dynamat stuff so that you can compare them side-by-side. The B-quiet stuff is less expensive than even your price on the Extreme, and I've found it to be very high quality. I've done the trunk lid, rear deck, and front passenger door so far, and I'm not even halfway through one 50 sq. ft. roll.
