Default Check out what a car looks like

That has been in an accident without the sub box bolted down. It can go right through the rear seats. Not to mention in daily driving it might have the tendency to "jump".

Default Makes absolutely no difference to my 10" Alpine ported reflex sub

though if you've got an enclosure that is too small for the driver then it will be vital it is well secured. I've seen enclosures that are barely big enough to fit the speaker in, let alone provide anything approaching acoustic efficiency.
