Default How to stop Audio, when you filled all slots in the 6 CD magazine, DVD slot, SD cards ?

Ok, it should be easy, or at least very intuitive...
I have a navigation sys, with 6 CD changer in glove box, 2 SD card slots and a DVD slot at the back of the LCD screen. ( I am not sure the serial number, or a "exact" code for the audio package. I bought mine (A3) 2006 Jan in US. Let me know if I need read off a serial # or something.)

Suppose you fille them all, Nav DVD, CDs, SD cards. And you listen to a radio, CD, whatever. Then, turn on NAV. And now you want just turn off the Audio only. How do you do that?

Default Turn off the volume

That's the only way to do it right now. And let's hope we get the mute feature that Europe got a while ago with one of the software updates.

Default Re: Turn off the volume

Thanks,

However, then I don't have voice guided nav anymore. Now, I am taking out SD cards and when I need only voice nav set audio to SD card.

But, it is really stupid that they did not have stop button on audio, don't you think?

Default Your can turn down the audio volume and still have route guidance

The navi volume is indipendent and set under SOUND, somewhere. I never use voice guidance, therefore I'm not sure. But it should work.

Default I don't know of any optical based mobile system (even aftermarket) that has a stop button.

Usually you'd just turn it off or turn down the volume.

Default alpine decks usually have a pause button

not that that is very helpful in this situation.
