How to use CD inputs for another device (e.g. ext MP3)?

Default How to use CD inputs for another device (e.g. ext MP3)?
Is there a way to fool the Concert head unit into thinking the CD-changer is connected so you can use the CD line inputs for another external device? I understand there is a bus that connects the head unit and changer, but is there is simple lead to tie down or up to enable the CD input?
