I have a 12" JL Sub, curious if guys have suggestions where and how to enclose it.

2 choices. Buy one or build your own.
If you build your own, i suggest using MDF (available at home depot)
You can download simple box calculation software off the internet to figure out what size you need.
If you buy one, you can check out what crutchfield offers, or go to local stereo shops and see what they might charge to custom build one.
I built my own btw...a sheet of MDF is like 40 or 50 bucks.
