I have 3 radio security cods: NONE OF THEM WORK!
I just changed my timing belt, plugs, etc on my 98.5 2.8Q & disconnected the battery to do it. Now my radio is in "SAFE" mode, but when I dug up my radio manual, there was a radio code sticker stuck on top of another sticker that was stuck on top of the original code.
However, none of these three codes works! What the the hell? Will the dealer charge me for this?
Also, is it really neccessary to have your ecu reprogramed after you disconnect the battery?
Any help would be appriciated!

Hi There....
The dealer should be able to look up the code on their computer based on your serial number. They shouldn't charge for this. That said, it sounds like maybe the radio got replaced at some time. Hopefully they have the new code in the database.
