I have a low repetitive thumping sound coming from my sub and it won't

quit unless I pull the fuse on the amp. I just had the sub replaced under warranty and now this. I have a 12" JL Audio W-0. It's a strange noise. It sounds like a pulsing thump. Any ideas what it could be and how to fix it.

Sounds like it might be ground noise...

check the quality of the ground on the amp and double check that your signal wires aren't too close to the power wires

if it only thumps it could be blown thats what happened to my 12' polk/momo

the only way a sub can move ......

is for it to receive current from the amp
try unplugging your rca cables if it is still happening then you have either a wiring problem or a bad amp. if when you remove rcas the sound stops then the problem is with the radio or the cables between them check there first
