Deck. I was wondering if someone could tell me what socket it plugs in to. The back of the deck has three main harnesses plugged into it, one on top of the other.

Default You'll have to do a hatchet job on the adapter...

There's no one plug that the Blau adapter interfaces with. Do a search on the adapter itself in the Audio forum and you'll come across several posts with links and pics showing you a how to... I screwed up my bookmarks or I would post the link myself!

Best of luck and let me know if you can't find it.

Default From what I understand, there are "blank" holes in the stock harness (more)

The trick is to carefully remove the pins from the Blau adapter and insert them into the stock harness "blanks". Then, voila - preamp outs.

Check out the URL below:<ul><li><a href="http://www.exelaris.com/ttaudio/Main.html">http://www.exelaris.com/ttaudio/Main.html</a</li></ul>

Default It can be inserted in place of the top black harness but...

your cd changer won't work any more (if you have one of course) If you do have a cd changer then it gets tough. You have to manually remove the 6 pins (right/left, front/rear, remote turn on, and common ground) from the stock as well as the blau adapter. Then insert the 6 from the blau into their respective places on the stock harness and voila your done... it is a PITA trust me...

Default The blanks are for the front outs only....

and you will still have to splice into the common ground
