Default You've got 3 options for power.

First off, ALWAYS tap from the battery. There is a perfect spot using just an o-ring. You can disconnect the screwed in cable on the positive of the battery, put an o-ring under it, then rescrew it in. You WON'T loose power to your radio so it won't need to be recoded.

From there, you can run the pwoer through
1) The ECU box
2) A grommet to the right of the batteyr
3) Drill a new hole

#1 is NOT advised. It adds electromagnetic interference near the cars ECU and it's not ideal

#2 is an easy route

#3 is how I did it because I used #2 for a boost controller.

Once the power is inside the car, run the power wire down the LEFT side with remote turn on, and rthe speaker/RCAs down the RIGHT side of the car.

That's really all you need to know.

Default Use the hood release grommet for power

I ran my power wire from the battery to the grommet used by the hood release cable on the far right side of the engine compartment. The hood release cable goes directly to the lower left part of the drivers foot well. I tried several other areas and this was by far the easiest place to get the wire through the firewall. The existing grommet is pretty big for the cable so I just cut a small whole in it for my power wire and sealed it with some silicone.

From there, it's easy to run the cable under the drivers side trim panel that runs just inside the door to the rear of the car.

Default Run the power and turn-on down the left-side door sills. Run the RCAs and speaker wire...

down/up the right/side door sills. Obviously, don't replace the door sills until everything is installed, so that you can take up any slack or shift the cables if necessary. It's very important to keep power and signal cables as far apart as possible.
