Default Installed subs, everything works but have a noise problem.

I tapped into the stock line input to the stock amp. Left and right, and grounds with RCAs. Works great. But now when the car runs, I am getting feedback from the rear speakers. If I disconnect the rcas from the amp, its clear again. I have swapped RCA cables, reconnected the ground somewhere else, and also even tried my RCA converter in the place of it for the hell of it (but it wouldn't work). So anyone have ideas why this is not working?

Currently the RCAs go to the left and right channel signal and the grounds of them go to the neg of each channel. Only way it would work. I don't understand why I am getting engine noise when its just tapping into the stock amp for a signal?

Default Thought if something...

The only thing I can think of, is I am getting noise from the alternator, and its transfering it through the amp into the rcas and into the stock amp. Since I tapped the line in of that amp, I am hearing it on the rest of the system. Any way to stop this?

Did you run the power line next to the speaker lines? You may be hearing an alternator whine.

Default i had that problem as well...installer took a shortcut and used the factory wiring.

to fix, i just rewired all the speakers with aftermarket speaker wire. cleared the problem right up. not a very hard project as the door grommets pass right through. i think the toughest part is getting the floor moulidings that run along the inside bottom of the door sills off. feel free to email me with any ?'s.
