Installing Blitzsafe...at what point will I need a radio code?
98 A8 - Concert head.
I don't have a code. Can I unplug CD inputs and plug in blitzsafe without needing a radio code?

I just did this on an '05 A4; I didn't disconnect the battery, and didn't need to recode the radio.
Sorry -- no idea if the same would hold on a '98... But my impression is that it's the lack of a power connection that puts the radio in safe mode.
