Installing Panasonic CX-DP610 CDC - Help needed!
I have the 2001 S4 Symphony single CD BOSE.
Just bought the Panasonic CDC today, but I cannot get it to work. The connector plugs right in, but the stereo doesn't "see" the CDC, either when I press the CDC button or turn the radio on pressing the 4 button.
I keep reading about the adapter that's needed, but not everyone agrees on it. What I do not see is why you would need one when it plugs right in. Both the CDC and the car have the 13-pin end (although the car connector is missing about 3 pins, which might be normal, as it has never been tampered with). I am posting pictures of both.
Any input please?
