Default iPod (again!) integration in 06 A4 with Nav

I have read through the forums and I'm not sure that this question is exactly answered.

I am looking at buying a new 06 A4 with Nav no sat radio (s-line/titanium in case you care) but my main concern is how do I plug my ipod in. I don't care about charging or even controlling it through head-unit and stereo. I use the cassette in my current A4, but obviously that option will be gone. I don't really want to use an FM transmitter and I'd rather not lose my CD changer.

Do I have any options?

Thanks

Default yes...

<center><img src="http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/media/DENSION_I20_VW_R.jpg"></center><p>you can buy this adaptor from enfig.com and it will plug in the back of your factory RNS-E.

This will give you control, charging etc.

You'll just need to move a few pins around (very easy). I'll have a pdf published in a few weeks to explain how to install this.<ul><li><a href="http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/DENSION_I20_VW.html">http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/DENSION_I20_VW.html</a</li></ul>

That's great news. Is this something I could bring to the dealer for them to install?

Default possibly....but I wouldn't count on it.

I would find a stereo place to install it first.

just make sure they move some pins around when they do the install.

Good luck!

OK, looks like the A4 I might be getting has nav, glove box CD changer and sat radio.

Some questions:

1: Can I configure your suggested add-on so that the CD Changer still operates?

2: I assume I will lose the sat radio

3: Will this invalidate my warranty at all?

Thanks again for any help. I am actually considering not buying the car because if I can't get my iPod hooked up.

Ok, I am confused. I have the car now. My understanding is that I can remove the glove box CD changer (I have Nav+) and simply resuse the cable going into the back of it to plug in my iPod. In my situation I would use:
