JBL BP600.1 Vs. JL 500/1... which amp is better?
Planning on buying two of either amps
to power 2 momo 12" subs
they are rated at 500rms 1000w peek each
Which is the better amp to get for quality and sound?

Go with the JL 500/1. It has a very nice power supply that will keep the power output
damn near the same if not the same weither you at 12V or 14V. All of amp Manuf. will say their amps is for example 500W but they give you the 14.4V rating....at 12V (which most cars are at) you will only see 250W...300 if the car audio gods are smiling on you. :-p That's one of the reasons i chose my Xtant....JL and Xtant both have those kind of power supplies that keep that output constant weither the voltage is 11-15V.
Of those two choices, JL, to me is the better choice.
