I am having these components installed by Sound-in-Motion in Boston this week. Any ideas? Good setup? Bad setup? Also, where do you think I should have them install the amp: under rear deck or on the back of the rear seat? The car is 02 A4 Non-Bose. Thanks for your input guys...

sounds like a pretty descent system, unless you want to go comp., then you might want to think about somethin else. the 500/1 I haven't done much research on, but you should check out pheonix gold's amps their cheap. inexpensive and dependable. All around it sounds like a good system. Try to put the amp where both ends can breath if your going to run them briged or series. Other wise, you don't have to worry much about amp location if you run them stereo.

i currently have JL 500/1 amp, 2 8" W3's mounted in a stealth plexi-glass box into the rear deck of an '02 w/Bose...first off, bass sounds nice and clean, real fast and hits hard, big improvement from stock Bose sub. i think that your 10" W3's are going to sound even better(wish i got the 10's cause i love bass)...second, i'm thinking if i change my HU and components, it will sound really good...see how it sounds and let us know how it works out...Eric
