Hi -

I'm going to upgrade the audio system for my 2001 S4. I'm currently looking at JL Audio XR525 components (front), JL XR525 coax rear, JL 10w3 Sub and the new JL 500/5 amp. Can anyone provide any feedback on the JL stuff?

JL speakers are ok...........but why not try something else like MB quart, german for a german car??

is probably my favorite sounding car. and it was the old mid's and high's, not these newly engineered ones. i spent almost an hour in that car one day and good god that car sounds good and by no means has $1k speakers in the car.

The XR525CS were my choice after listening to Infinity Kappas, MBQ, Polk, and a few others. The tweets were what did it for me. Smoothest highs of all the component sets I listened to.
