Okay, I have been to the JL Audio website and did a search but this has not been answered. For some reason JL Audio says the Stealthbox will only fit the pre-99.5 cars?? Why? Is there a particular reason it will not fit a 2000? I know that JL Audio just says it won't but I am looking for the reason why as it might be something I can work around. Anyone have one of these in a 99.5-2001 Audi? Also, does anyone have one for sale of know where I could get one cheap? Thanks, David

I put this into the search engine and did not come across any instances of this box being installed into a 99.5+ car. Did you have a link for this particular post?

Limit your search to the audio forum, and then look at result #20. In that thread, I provide the URL.

I would simply paste the URL here for you, but that would be too easy, especially when you really could have found the info by searching (yes, sometimes the answers are buried). But that's what the search function is for!

Thanks, the first time I tried it only 9 postings came up and none of them were specific to fitting the box in a newer A4. Of course I searched under "JL Audio stealthbox installation" which probably narrowed it down too much. Thanks, David
