I am getting the hiss sound when the volume is low. Can you tell me why? I am going to call the shop that did the install but am asking questions too.
I went with:
Eclipse headunit cd8443
JL Audio VR 650 sep.
JL Audio 10W1 sub
Stock Rears powered by headunit
Rockford 501X amp wired to front and sub.
TIA for the help. The setup is in my GTI as I don't want to mess with the S4 yet.

If you're talking near zero, you may get the noise from your amps depending on how high the gains are set on your amp. I had an eclipse deck about 4 years ago and it also had hissing at low volume. It turns out that the deck itself was gnerating that noise but it could only be heard when the volume was near 0.
