Default Laptop Integration

I have been working with a friend of mine to integrate his laptop in his 91 firebird. so far we have audio hookup and the next step is to buy or build a removable or hide-away stand. We can play mp3's and dvd's. Has anyone tried this and if so how and lets see some pictures. My car is next and i will post as soon as it gets done (most likely not for a few months though)

Default Re: Laptop Integration

If all you want to do is play mp3s, I suggest you look at systems like the SSI Neo Car Jukebox. Wiring the laptop is a long climb for a short slide. If you additionally want to use GPS mapping and cellular based internet access, etc., please let me know where you mounted the laptop, 'cause I can't figure out a good place to mount without going to something really small like a libretto

http://www.ssiamerica.com/</a
