Default Main system fuse question ...

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this but ... if you have 2 amps and one has an 80amp recommended main fuse and the second has a 60 amp main then you can just drop in a 140amp fuse at the battery right ? Just add the 2 amp requirements together, no fancy calculation ?

yes that is the rule of thumb, but a 140 amp fuse can be hard to find go lower not higher on the fuse if you cant find a 140amp. though you would more than likly be fine with a 150 amp ANL style fuse since it is so close.
