Default Which MB Quart adapter kit?

I have 2000 A4 and want to put aftermarket speakers in it. I called the nearest MB dealer and he wasn't sure which adapter kit to order. Flush, raised, etc. I would like 5.25's in the front and 6.5's in the rear. Do they work well? What about with BA spearkers instead of MB's? How about part #'s?

Default Re: Check out MBQ's website

Be sure to test Diamond "M5" or "Hex" series speakers in addition to MBQ & BA

http://www.mbquart.com/mobil</a

Default I did, the dealer is clueless. He wants a part # because . . .

. . . there are multiple kits and part #'s for the Audi. 5.25" raised mounting bracket, 5.25" Flush adapter kit, 6.5" flush mounting ring, and multiple iterations of each.

Nope, he's stupid!
To Do List:
1. Call Jeff at MBQ tech support - he's great!!! (800) 9-MB-SPKR
He'll help you determine what parts you need and part numbers if you need them.

2. As for the Flush/raised issue, that all depends on how you want your speakers to sit in the housing. If under the door panels, then go stealth, if above ground, then flush or raised. Jeff can explain all of this stuff to you.

3. Find another dealer, I feel a problem coming on with the install. Where do you live? Maybe I can help???

Default I'm going to call !

I live in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area. This is not the dealer that is going to do the install. My installer is not an MB quart dealer. Custom Audio in Ann Arbor does Boston Accoustics, and Diamond, Focal and NOT MB. I was going to order the adapters from the other guy to make their job easier.

Planning on the BA pro series speakers.
