Hello
I bought an MR12volt androidbox system for Audi Q7 2007 model MMI 2G High. I put this on and went on a long journey. I used it for 6 hours without any problems. When I took a break and stopped the vehicle, the MMI system did not work again. It keeps rebooting and mmi won't turn on.
Has anyone had similar problems before?Thank you

Start with the normal approach and loop out the suspect device and see if the ring stays up and running. MMI 2G, so did you take the optical plug out of the CD changer and put it into the Mr12V device? Take the optical plug and put it back into the CD changer and see what happens. Or if you have a bypass loop, just use that on the optical cable plug. If the MMI system operates now, something is up with the Mr12V device, it would seem. Check the fusing.

The device might have developed an issue (I have not read anything to imply they are unreliable products) or maybe the fuse blew. An unpowered device on the ring cannot forward the ring messages and will break the ring, taking down the MMI system. If power to the device plug is good, yeah, time to hit them up for a replacement it would seem.

My vehicle is a 2007 model but it has only 140k km. Therefore, even when installing this device, I had doubts that it would damage the vehicle. I was very sorry to have such a problem. As you know, vehicle prices in Turkey are extremely high. The same vehicle new costs 300 b euros. Fortunately, we disconnected and plugged the cables and it turned on again. No problem for now. We attached it to the bottom of the glovebox. Maybe he did it because he was warming up. I will go on a long journey again and observe. Thank you very much for your help.
