Is mounting an amp under the back deck (upside down) acceptable?

I love the JBL amps, but yeah it doesn't offer much for mounting

Wow...I'm really not familiar with the stock audio system in a B6...

There's a factory sub? It's mounted in that rear parcel shelf? Where are the rear channel speakers?

Stock subwoofer is mounted under the rear parcel shelf

its a dinky little thing (6" iirc). Rear channel speakers are in the rear passenger doors
