Default MP3 cd player finally here....newbie wiring questions

so my kenwood head unit has rca outputs and the stock audi concert radio had this weird audi harness. Do I have to go to a shop so that they will make a new harness for me?

regards,
Liam

Default You can wire RCA plugs to the OEM harness at these points

Just have them tap into the wires on the connector.

CD Changer wiring shown here. The line-outs are on the right in this photo.

Default question on your pic there jeff..

Isn't it labelled slightly wrong?

COM is common ground right?

Technicallity here but the "to power amp" might make people thing it provides 12V power for them amp, when in actually RF, RR, LF, and LR are the pre-amp outs for rightfront, rightrear, leftfront, leftrear.

Default It's not labeled wrong...

COM is the common ground points of the line-outs, yes.

I show them on the other part of the diagram where to get +12V
I certainly would have labeled it otherwise.

I think a person with reasonable inteligence regarding audio knows what these signal points are.
