Hi AudiWorld ^_^
First of all sorry for my poor english '_'
I've order a new Audi A3 with Concert II radio and BOSE sound system with NAVI (not plus+, it isn't available) Navi is a Satellite navigation system (Route planning and guidance using voice and pictogram instructions. Includes Drivers Information System (DIS) and Teleatlas CD-ROM disc)
well... can I change ConcertII radio with a Clarion product?
If I change ConcertII... I lost NAVI function and link with car?
Thanks in advanced
Best regards

Well it depends on whether you have a bose system or not.
The NAV uses the radio to play the audio prompts for the directions. There are several pins on the back of the radio that act as an input for the NAD, the radio then just plays it out as if it is any other source.
If you remove the factory radio you would have add some sort of additional speaker/amp so you could hear the output from the NAV system.
The other thing that you would loose is the ability to mute the radio. The radio is muted via a CAN bus message sent by the NAV system when it plays the prompt (older versions had a discrete line that would mute the radio when taken to ground).
So what this is saying is that it would probably work, but you would not be able to hear the directions without some modifications.
