Default FYI. When adding an enclosure, you don't have to sacrafice any trunk space. I had a custom install

and lost a total of 2 inches in height (from the amp rack) and 2 inches on the right side from one of the subs in the wheel well (the sub on the left side didn't protrude at all), so, don't let that frighten you away from adding a sub enclosure.

Default dont have time to check all the links but

The few I checked were MTX amps and MBQuart speakers. Good choices. I think MTX has the best quality low budget amp out there, and they look good too. I'd definately go with them. They are always underrated as well.

You could run the rears off the 4 channel amp as well as the fronts on the same 2 channels by paralleling the left side or the right side, but you will loose all fading ability. You could also parallel the fronts together and than the rears together and run one off each "front" channel of the amp. This looses all balance ability. But any stereo amp will run 2 ohm stable and 2x the 4ohm power. So it works.

As for power, 100w to a 10" or 12" sub like a JL10w3 or 10w0 is more than enough to get you good volume. 50watts to a set of frnt components is a good match to that.

I would say what you need is some bass. A 10" or 12" would work great, depending on what you want your bass to sound like. Not only would you get an incredible increase of your bass over stock, but your highs will sound brighter as well. This would be the best option for you.

Default thanks...I've decided to not only go with a 12" sub but

also going to go with 5.25" up front and a 4 or 5 channel amp. I can get a good deal on a 5 channel sony es from a friend. I might jump on that.
