Hey everyone. I just bought a used 2004 A4 1.8t and would like to integrate my ipod. Which is the best way to go?

1st, if you have ipod integration option built in, use that.
The best SQ, control, and overall use will come from the ipod interface port and not the headphone jack.
If you don't have built in integration, you should have a CD changer or AUX control/input that you can get an adapter for to plug into the ipod interface.
If you have to use the headphone jack, hope for an input where you can plug that in (you may need an adapter again but in that case, you'd be better off with the ipod interface adapter if possible) or you'll have to go with a cassette adapter (if you have a tape deck). Last option would be an RF connector where you can pick up the signal through a radio station but that sucks and I would never do that. If you have a nice new ipod w/ blutooth and your stereo has it, this will probably be the best solution but I've never tried and not too many people have that.

I found a Ice Link for Audi at a Best Buy factory sealed for $49.00. I will put it in tomorrow night.

I ran the ipod cable to the area by my ebrake and I also ran an extra line in (or out, whatever it is) cable (DICE gives you a line in on the main unit to go along with the Audi cable if you ever want to use another MP3 player) to my glove box.

Do a search in the B6 forum, a lot of people have done this mod and there are a lot of write ups about it.
