hey all new to the message board and have found a lot of usefull info. just wanted to get some feed back on the system setup i was thinking of installing in my 98 A4. keep in mind this isnt that crazy of a setup, the system consists of:

Clarion DXZ725 head unit
MB Quart DSD 213 5.25 components (front doors)
Infinity Kappa 6.5 components (rear deck)
JL 12w6 sub
PPI PC 2300 AMP (SUB)
Rockford Punch 500X (Components)

any feedback would be great.

oh yeah i would like to make my own adapters for the front doors is there a good procedure for this? thanks a lot.

can you use the infinity in front instead in back? if you can put 6.5" in front, why not?

a suggestion...try looking for a nice 30-band equalizer. much better staging if you put it on

as for the adapter, you can use aftermarket adapters or make your own with MDF(medium density fiberboard)

by the way, what car are this stuff going in to?

my understanding is that its a really big pain in the *** to fit 6.5 up front. any suggestions on a cost effective EQ

i use 2nd hand audio control eqt. new costs about $320 here, got it for $110

good point...i can only take 5.5"dyn in front.
