I recently purchased a 2007 Q7 and am having a bit of a hard time figuring out the MMI system. The vehicle came with the manual, however it hasn't been much help with some of my questions. I am hoping everyone here can provide some guidance before I head back to the dealership!

The control **** for the MMI and the radio volume **** on the center consol don't work after the engine is turned on. Is this some sort of safety feature or a malfunction with my vehicle? If its not a malfunction, is there a way to disable this feature?
