NEX 8000 Pioneer support map updates
I have the Pioneer NEX 8000 which I bought at the end of 2014. I haven't seen any firmware updates and there is nothing about map updates for this system. Does Pioneer not update its maps? If this is the case, I think I will not be buying another Pioneer product. Even the RNS-E has map updates, which came out years ago. Any advise on this would be helpful. If someone knows that Pioneer is not going to release maps, my next question is are there any other aftermarket NAV systems that support their unit as far as updates years down the road?
