Default Night pics of my Sony CDX-M650 head unit...

This is for the folks who were curious about the look of the Sony head unit at night. The red is a very close match and I personally love the blue contrast. Also, when the panel is up, it's flush against the console. The head unit is a really good performer too.

Default Thanks...mine initially came out blurry. I had to keep the camera super steady...

and turn the damn flash off. I actually saw your pics first and got the idea of the angle from you. :-)

Default Fantastic job...

I wonder if I can simply put a piece of acetate on the panel when it's up? Since the panel is smooth I would need minimal cutting.

Thanks.

Default Yeah, because it's attached you don't want to take it apart.

I put the acetate behind the panel on mine. Not sure what you would use for adhesive. Oh and the acetate tends to scratch easy. The stuff is real cheap though.

Default I love the Sony HUs. Performance is very good and it plays all my CD-Rs...

which was my number one priority. I've also had good luck with Sony HUs. They've been extremely reliable for me. Go for it!
