the 5000a in the diamonds, the the focals are the second from the top...the boston, are the non pros and the mb quarts i think are reference

Depends on what type of sound he's going for. DLS Iridiums are nice. Never heard a properly tuned set of Dyns. I didn't like the set of Morels I heard. They sounded too laid back. Never heard X-types.
Maybe one more to listen to would be JL ZR series components.

I'm actually going to replace them with a set of DLS speakers from AVINCAR. So, I'll keep you posted on the results!
At lower volumes, when I have the windows rolled up they sound pretty good. Midbass is a little weak. Here's the bad news: in the summer I love driving with the sunroof open which increases the road noise. When I turn up the volume to compensate, the highs get quite harsh and shrill sounding.
So, bottom line, they are decent, but not worth the cost. I love Dynaudio speakers (I've had them in a past car), but wanted to try the DLS's because I didn't have the capital for the Dyn's.
