All the info I have on the new stereo is what it says in the brochure. How does the new sub sound? I guess they had to actually put an amp in, do the fronts sound better at high volume? Anybody know specs on speaker sizes, etc... The system in my 99.5 may have to get moved to a 02Amulet/Onyx. (It's modest - PPI 4x50, 10"JL, 5.25 DEI fronts)Oh yeah anybody got pics of denim blue? I have yet to see one in person. Thanks.

The stock is much improved but for an audiophile it still lacks. The front speakers are apparently now 6 1/2" drivers, and yes there i a rear deck sub but it is REAL weak. I already moved the sub and amp from my 2000 into my 2002 with under 2000 miles on it. You will probably want to do the same but think about new front door speakers as they are now larger. The rear speakers are in the rear door now not the rear deck so the staging is also thrown off.

Wasn't at all happy w/ '01 Premium Sound. Go cheap, then replace the stereo

I just put in the new sub and left the rest as is. The stick sub is soooo useless, after lying in the trunk with the bass turned up listening to see if the damn thing was even working, i left it alone.

As for the remaining speakers, the new 6 1/2" door drivers are adequate. I have nice 5 1/4" Kicker Impulse seperates from my 2000 A4 but dont want to go down in size so I will stay as is for now.

Its far from an ultimate solution, but much better for now.
