I remember the days when I would kill for a set of 320is. At the time they were about $600 a set. I couldn't afford that kind of equipment back then so I ended up with Boston Rally components, a JL 10W1 (the original one), Soundstream Granite 60.2 (running tri-mode or mixed-mono or whatever the hell you want to call it), and a Kenwood KDC-6001 CD HU. That Soundstream amp was straight rediculous. I ran that thing tri-mode for awhile and it used to get pretty hot but never shut down. I even added a set of rears to it so it was running the Rally components, a set of Boston coaxials, and the JL sub. This was all off a 2-channel (30 x 2) amp. They don't make em like that anymore!

The old Nakamichi stuff was good although I wouldn't put it above the original Alpine 7909 or even the old Denon HUs.

..that thing kicked out crazy power.
I had the speakers in my Chevelle high up in the front part of the doors.
Then I added in 4 ....ready for this???.....10" OZ Audio subs on one of the original RF "waffle" amps.
