Default my bad...

never get those straight. Yes, as per my follow up post, I agree that the ambient heat was probably only a contributing factor and that there is something else in the amp causing the problem.

Default just f-ing with you...

yeah, those fosgate amps put out some serious heat. the only amps of merit from them were the late eighties/ early ninties punch amps. but then again, precision power was pretty much putting out the best stuff of the day back then...now it's not so hot, but oh well.
