Dan,
I was admiring the pics of your door pods and I am planning a similar install for my 6.5" drivers.... I have a couple of questions...
1. The speakers seem to be aimed at the feet. Are they angled upwards at all?
2. The pods seem to be protruding outward a little.... does the glove box bump into the pod when you open it?
3. Are the pods sealed in the back so that no backwave pressure escapes from behind the speaker?
4. When you sell the car are you just going to drop the original drivers back into the custom pods?

The speakers are aimed properly. They look like they aren't both in the pics and when your looking right at them... I don't know why but that's how it came out.
The glove box does bump into the pod and can only open a few inches unless the door is open. I am rather upset about this and will be bringing it up w/ my installer as I was not told this was going to happen.
They are not sealed in the back... I haven't really even thought about doing that yet (it would cost a lot more $). I can't see any noticable advantages as it seems that absolutely no midbass is lost... please explain.
When I sell the car I'm going to sell the door panels (I'm sure someone will want them) and put some stock doors back on the car... unless I sell it to an audio nut ; )
