Dixon, do you know when the new model comes out? ...i suppose the replacement for the DVD911. i am talking about the model with the 7" touchscreen that will also play MP3s. any idea on the price and if it will be compatible with the current DVD-Nav unit? Thanks.

The replacement (KVT-915DVD) ships at the end of Dec. There are actually 3 new indash motorized video replacments this year.

Sorry for the delay, we have been a little crazy for the last few days.

This is the only information that we have as far as a replacment.

Kenwood Excelon KVT-915DVD DVD Receiver /TV Tuner /6.5" Monitor

At this time, we aren't sure this is going to start shipping this year. It is looking more like it will be after the CES show. As soon as we get some idea, we will have something on our site. I will get you a link for it then.

Right now it is looking like the price is going to be around the $2499 point.

We just got intel from Kenwood. The new Kenwood Excelon KVT-915DVD DVD Receiver /TV Tuner /6.5" Monitor. Will arrive March 1 to us.
