Default Paging Sir Lord Avincar

I am looking to add a subwoofer to my B7 A4. I do not want to lose too much trunk space. Where do you suggest a box be custom built? I do not think I would need larger than a 10", correct?

Default That's "Mr." Avincar to you :)

90% of the subs we use are 10"s.

The best results are obtained by making a fiberglassed enclosure in the driver's rear corner. We don't have a mld for one of these to sell as an ordered product yet, but we are hoping to have B7 access sometime soon.

Where are you geographically?

Default It would be good to find out if the B6 and B7 take the same shape...

Let me see what I can come up with...

Default The B6 on A4mods.com is different from my B7. Here are a couple of pics (BWW)

The A4mods.com fiberglass sub enclosure:

My B7 cubby taken apart:

As a note, the one thing that stopped me from fabricating a fiberglass enclosure for my B7 was the fact that the door is not removable like on my B5. You would have to cut it off, which is just not my style. I may change my mind in the near future though. The other thing to note is that you would have to cut the opening slightly larger for any 12" woofer; 10" would be perfect.

That is my thought as well. We would make one that fits behind the panel.
