All you need is to cut out the cubbyhole liner. If you do it neatly then you could hot glue it back if you want to go back to stock.
This is the one I did just using 18mm MDF and housing a JL Audio 6.5" sub. The transformation is amazing even with just a small sub. This was just the test enclosure so apologies for it's roughness, but it's hidden anyway with the cubbyhole door in place.
I installed a 4ch amp in the cubbyhole on the other side after removing the plastic garbage that Audi seemed to have left in there.
