Default Parking Brake and New Navigation system...

We spliced the wires into the parking break, but the nav unit doesnt detect that we did so, the messages comes on that our wiring isnt right. I have a 99 audi a6 using the Pioneer AVIC N2, any helpful details on getting the nav to see the parking break on would be greatly appricated.

Default Are you trying to get the video to play while the car is in motion?

If you are then it doesn't work on the new Pioneer units because it uses a different type of mechanism that can detect if the car is moving or not. I don't know if anybody has figured it out yet but I'm sure somebody is working on it.

Even when the parking brake is hooked up right...you will still get a message that says "parking brake is hooked up incorrectly" press the Ok button and you should be able to get to the nav screen.
