Default Parrot CK3000 issue

Trying to install a CK3000 kit in my 2000 A6 2.7T w/ Bose for my Treo 650. Have read some of the posts regarding the subject. Very helpful. Power is fine. It connects with my Treo just fine. However, I'm having trouble with the connection to the radio. As suggested in various posts, I used the red and orange to the - and + for the phone and the yellow to the mute (from the speaker harnass). When I dial out, it will mute the radio only for about 2 secs and then go back to the radio. I'm getting nothing out of the speakers either. When I push the round button on the Parrot, it will mute the phone until I try to dial a number. I tried reversing the red and orange phone wires and the red and orange wires from the female speaker harnass with no luck. Trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Hopefully someone has some suggestions because it's driving me nuts.

Default Where are you picking up Switched and Constant +12V? If you are getting switched +12V from the head

unit, this is the problem.
This is not a true source of +12V switched at the ignition.

You need to find a "real" source of siwtched +12V, like from the fuse box.

Getting it from the fuse box. The switched one is the same one I use for my radar detector which has been working fine for it. Do you think this is a power issue?

It just doesn't seem to sustain the muting for some reason. It will mute when a call comes in but no sound. I even changed the speaker side that the phone uses. Maybe I need to redo my speaker connections. Also have a Phatbox installed (by the Audi dealer). Doubt that that has something to do with it. Thanks for all your help thusfar. We'll get it figured out!

Default Try using Nav inputs instead

As I recall, that's what I did, and it worked much better, also provided louder phone output on the speakers
