Default Passport 8500 Falling

The cold weather has been making my radar detector, Passport 8500, fall from where it's mounted (to the right of the rear-view mirror). It's hardwired, and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion about how to keep it up without the suction cups getting loose? Anyone else experience this?

Happens to me every winter. Clean the glass and the cups. Warm the cups b4 you stick 'em back on.

Default Mine never falls in the cold, but re-sticking it is difficult until it warms back up...

I'd make sure everything is clean and warm when sticking them on, like Jeff stated.

And in case anyone is wondering why I'm re-sticking it if it never falls, when I'm parking in my school's open parking lot, I take the detector down to avoid theft.

Just super glue it!

Nah, just kidding, but the same thing happens to me in the winter. Like the others said, clean the glass real good..Heat the glass up and heat the cups up.. That should take care of it.

www.crutchfield.com
