Phatbox help - no power to the unit?!?! WTF!!!

All is good! Phatbox now happily connected & working AOK! But more questions....
Can't believe the ddealership (or I for that matter) didn't pick up on this!!
Thanks for the help again Ted! And seeing as you appear to be the electronics guru.... any idea why I might be getting feedback on my Bluetooth handsfree kit (Nokia). I soldered the speaker wires from the kit directly onto the center speaker in the dash so I have a cleaner install & no additioanl speaker. Did I need to put some kind of resistor on the wires maybe??
