I moved my sub amp from the back of the rear seat to under the deck. I also installed a new power line straight to the battery (with a fuse of course), and used twisted pair monster cable to feed the signal from the Bose line output.

Another shot, to show you my amateur WiRiNg sKiLLz

And here's the new sub, (a sealed Boston 15" at 2 ohms) which replaces a JL 10W6. Even with the sub box, my full EMT kit, and a tool bag, there's still plenty of room in the trunk.

And I took out my additional cigarette lighter power outlet and put in a switch to turn off the subwoofer because 300 watts of bass can sound real bad when you have a headache.

Thats all for now.

I used a dremel to sand it down a little bit. Then I used a bolt which was wide enough to tap the hole (creating an even greater contact area) and tightened it super tight with a socket wrench. No noise at all, works great.

Did you run the monster cable all the way up front to the HU?
Or did you pick up the signal from the rear speakers with a converter?
Any pictures of the setup?
I have a major problem with this issue. Thanks.
