you will find that pin 11, Ignition +12V is not a constant +12V, not a true "ignition" source.
The voltage will vary, it's used to turn off the changer motor through a logic source when you switch off the ignition, so that the CD will start playing where it was stopped.

it occurs with or without it in the cradle, when the car is started, the radio no longer sees the cradle.
