Curious of mobile phone models that fully/partially/don't work with Audi MMI bluetooth. We will be getting new phones via Verizon but want to know what models work OK. And the pdf I've found on the Audi website shows minimal models.

For instance, we have an LG Venus and an LG
The works fine (calling/out, phonebook, etc)
But the LG Venus pairs and makes calls but the audio won't play ocer the speakers and the phone book won't sync.

So I'll enter:
Verizon, LG VX8600, 2007 A3, full - works great
and
Verizon, LG Venus, 2007 A3, partial - no audio or phonebook

I just went through upgrading phones for my car on Verizon as well.

Old phone Motorola Z6c paired, made calls and handled my contacts well. It got the call stacks for missed, dialed and received screwed up. Overall it worked well.

I tried the Samsung Alias 2. It paired and would take and receive calls but would not send over my contact list.

Next new phone Motorola Droid - so far so good. Calls are good and the phone book is there. I don't monkey around with trying to send music from my phone to the stereo so I cannot comment on that.
