I'm putting together a sub/amp combo for a 2002 A4 Avant. I'm either going with a small sealed enclosure or a vented one. Which would you suggest: a Infinity Kappa Perfect sub (12" or 10") or a Diamond Audio M6 sub (also 12" or 10"). Either way I was going for the dual 4ohm voice coil. I listen to a lot of techno/dance music, NIN, etc. Thoughts. Help please. Was probably going to run them off an Xtant 600W sub amp. Thanks.

Skip on the infinitys, they're just not as good as the others. IMHO, for the price (since you said cost is a factor), Diamond and Image Dynamics are very good candidates. I usually go for accurate tight SQ bass, not the loud SPL stuff so i stay away from JL, Rockford, etc... As fas as SQ goes, the Image Dynamics IDQ are very good, and i've just recently switched to Diamond Audio CM/TM series subs, which i think are a touch better.

i have JLw3's and they do hit hard.. i'm happy with my choice..

yeah, i went with W6's....they hit, but are also pretty clean
